Putnam County Honor Guard

The Putnam County Honor Guard was established on July 17, 2001. We honor and represent our fellow brothers and sisters who work in Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS and those who have passed from this life in to a greater place. It is our intention to assist their families during their time of mourning from the loss of their loved one.

This organization was a dream of many of our members for years as a way to give back to those who serve our communities. The Putnam County Honor Guard is made up of Law Enforcement Officers, from local Police Departments and the Sheriff's Office, although a few also serve on Fire Departments and the EMS. We have represented our Agencies, and Putnam County's Public Safety at local parades, flag presentations, and any other requested events, that honor Putnam County's Safety Services. We have honored our fallen comrades at their funerals, at the request of their families. Members of the Putnam County Honor Guard do this on a volunteer basis.
